‘Shine a Light’ illuminates Iveagh Gardens

On October 18th Newsaccess CEO Stuart McHugh joined a group of business leaders and spent the night sleeping in Dublin's Iveagh Gardens. The event was in aid of Focus Irelands fantastic 'Shine a Light' campaign.
Stuart commented “It was a hard night’s sleep but all of the participants were great sports. There are over 5,000 people homeless in Ireland today and one in seven is a young child. Focus Ireland provide vital prevention services that change people’s lives and this is why I was delighted to be able to take part. This charity focuses on childcare, housing, education and support for those unfortunate people who will spend this cold winter homeless and very often alone.”
