Newsaccess sponsor the PRII Annual Conference 2016
Today Newsaccess was the headline sponsor for the PRII Annual Conference 2016 'Communication's Contribution to Organisational Success' held at the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin. This brought together key speakers and PR professionals from around the global PR industry. As the event was trending throughout the day, Newsaccess set to work on tracking the social media buzz via the hashtag #priiconf16.
Tweets came flying in! Newsaccess counted over 1,200 Tweets, when ‘potential reach’ is concidered, over 3.2million Twitter users were able to follow the keynote speakers and case studies via #priiconf16!
The Newsaccess team kept the delegates informed throughout the day with a live Tweetwall displaying tweets.
Newsaccess also shared live insights throughout the day, via Twitter, which included live tweet metrics analysing peaks in tweet times. The peak "tweet time" on the day was 09.45am, with a speech by Sixtine Bouygues, Deputy Director General at the European Commission. Sixtine discussed the communication challenges of the European Union, followed by a Q&A – which contributed to the high volume of tweets.

One unexpected demographic was the higher number of female to male tweeters, which stood at 69.6% & 30.4%. Where were all the men??
